I know this is an American clan predominately, but I do know we have some Europeans (really, anyone who enjoys the game) in here who may or may not enjoy futbol/football/soccer which ever is your preference, like I do.

For too long have they gone without the cup, and Euro 88 was tooo long ago. The Dutch Midfield and Attack is unrivaled and Stekelenburg is a great replacement for the legendary Van Der Sar. Haha I admire your love of England, but no way man, the Americans put up a fight and despite the US defence playing horribly most of the match, they still managed a draw.
I'd be concerned a bit more with your keepers as well. England is missing something from their squad to push them through to the finals I give them Semi-Finals and then they are done.

The US have a stellar keeper in Howard who played extremely well, and the one goal let in was not his fault for sure. I don't see the US making it out of the round of 16 though.

Poor guy . Once the US team woke up (goal in the first 4 min ), we did alright. Though who knows what our defensive line was doing back there.

Yeah, it helps when your team is awake, as the US never seemed to be until the last 10 of every game!

I was disappointed with the result of Japans match yesterday; to get that far and lose out on kicks from the mark sucks. But I note that your dutch are still in and get to go up against Brazil. Good luck to 'em, those South American teams are tough, and even when they beat Brazil odds are they will meet up with Uruguay or Paraguay.

I really don't like Kaka, did you see their round of 16 game? Kaka wanted the ball on an attack, and when he didn't get it he stopped and threw a tantrum!! In the middle of play! I am enjoying watching the Dutch and Germans though.
